1976 Mathematics Faculty Legacy Fund

Thanks to a generous donation, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics now has a moderate amount of funds available to support student travel and student engagement each year.

Undergraduate and graduate students may apply for up to $500 once per year to support travel to present their research at an appropriate conference.  Students should seek other sources of funding first and preference will be given to those without access to alternate funds.

Faculty may apply for funds to support student engagement outside of the classroom such as class field trips or relevant student group activities.

All interested parties should submit applications using the form here.  Applications will be gathered each year on September 15, December 15, February 15, and April 15.  Applications between April 15 and the end of the fiscal year will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis subject to available funds.
