Gallery of Fluid Motion
The mathematics topics course on Fluid Dynamics hosted a Gallery of Fluid Motion based on the student’s final projects. Students created an artistic visual record of their scientific project. Their submissions were graded based on a combination of striking visual qualities and their scientific explanation. The gallery award went to Kelsie Conner, with the project on Darcy’s Law to understand how oil moves through a porous media. Kelsie is a junior Mathematics BS major that plans to do a senior thesis related to fluid dynamics.
