Congratulations to Dr. Falcon and Dr. Yang

Dr. Claudia Falcon Dr. Falcon has been awarded a grant by the American Chemical Society – Undergraduate New Investigator (UNI) Grants. The project title is  “Mathematical Model of Transport of Petroleum-based Fluids over Granular Matter”.

Dr. Fan Yang in collaboration with Yuri Lima (University of São Paulo), and Davi Obata (Brigham Young) has been awarded the Jacob Palis Award sponsored by the Fulbright Commission and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. The project title is “Coding Beyond Uniform Hyperbolicity”.
